Language is the tool of thought: multilingualism within ICOM enriches its debates and its extension will reinforce its central position in the world reflection on museums. The meeting will propose to evaluate the number of members concerned and the new technical and financial conditions of a generalization of the translation in the 3 official languages or even a 4th.
