Kunsthalle Praha

Kunsthalle Praha

Kunsthalle Praha is a brand-new art space on Prague's cultural map comprising three large gallery spaces, a design shop, a bistro, and a café with a terrace that features charming views of Petřín Hill and Prague Castle.

Our mission is to contribute to a deeper understanding of Czech and international art from the 20th and 21st centuries. Through our temporary exhibitions, art collection, research, and support for international artists via our artist-in-residence programme, we aim to bridge the gap between our art scene and the world’s.

Museum Night Programme

Explore how electricity has transformed artistic practice from the start of the 20th century to the present day and get to know the collecting practice of Karel Babíček, founder of Behémót Gallery, one of the first private art galleries in post-communist Prague.

The multifunctional space of Kunsthalle Praha will offer a rounded audio-visual experience, with guided tours of the exhibitions followed by vitalising DJ sets.
