Iconic gem in the south of Bohemia: UNESCO World Heritage Site Český Krumlov
Experience the unique atmosphere of Český Krumlov, a medieval and Renaissance town built on the headland of a meander of the Vltava River. Thanks to its special location, the town’s historic centre has survived throughout the centuries almost untouched by time. The magnificent tower of the local castle, perched on top of a steep hill, stands guard over winding narrow streets paved with cobblestones and lined with stunning medieval and Renaissance houses decorated with sgraffito. Such unbelievably picturesque views await you in Český Krumlov with every step you take.
After a walk through the town, we will visit the castle and explore its beautifully preserved Renaissance interiors, as well as its unique Baroque theatre. Finally, the Regional Museum in Český Krumlov will give us a deeper understanding of local history.
