The creative spirit of Brno: Art, design and fashion
The Moravian capital (as locals proudly refer to the city of Brno) has always been driven by its specific identity. Having developed rapidly during the Industrial revolution, Brno is nowadays home to an abundance of inspiration for generations of upcoming artists. Here, creative people from around the region are moving in and projecting their imagination of culture onto reality.
We will start the day with a historic train ride from Prague to Brno. Upon arrival, our steps will lead us to the Moravian Gallery, where the following programs will be offered simultaneously: two guided tours of additional buildings of the Moravian Gallery – “ART IS HERE” and “ART DESIGN FASHION”. We will enjoy a lunch buffet under the Cloud, an art piece which actually protects you from eventual rain. In the afternoon, we will meet guides from the Brno House of Arts who will take us on a guided town walk with a focus on architecture. Finishing in the House of Arts itself, you will have the opportunity to visit its exhibitions of contemporary arts before departing back to Prague.
