Sustainability Action Plan 2030

As the WGS prepares the Sustainability Action Plan, it is planning activities to gather contributions from the membership, including a series of round tables, webinars, podcasts. NCs ICs RAs & AOs will be invited to contribute to these activities in the lead up to Prague. Our proposal envisages these strategies culminating in a meeting at Prague, where, through a workshop, we aim to consolidate the draft plan and allow ICOM members a further opportunity to actively contribute to the content of the Action Plan.

Museums for climate emergency: Bridging local governments, communities, and climate activism

Museums, in the logic of the participatory approach, are developing strategies and activities for climate emergency and climate justice in a dialogue between local public administrations and governments and local communities and activists. How can museums work with local administrations to improve climate change and environmental policies? Are museums a relevant link between local administrations, citizens, and activists for climate justice?
